About Sally Bowrey

Sally is a presenter for 7NEWS Sydney and the newsreader for Weekend Sunrise

After graduating from journalism at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst in 2003, Sally landed a job as anchor for Foxtel’s Arena News Updates.

She joined The Weather Channel as a presenter in 2004, becoming the face of the channel
the following year as the host of popular morning program Your Weather Today.

Born and raised in Sydney, Sally moved to Perth in 2009 to join TVW, where she presented the weekend news and worked as a reporter for Seven’s award-winning Western Australia news bulletin.

During her four-year stint in WA, Sally covered the devastating Perth Hills bushfires, the asylum seeker crisis, theQueen’s visit and the federal election.

In September 2015, Sally took over weather presenting duties on Seven’s 4pm and 6pm news bulletins from Sarah Cumming.

Since then, Sally has hosted rolling coverage for the Queensland Flood Disaster and
filled in as a news and weather presenter on Sunrise and Sydney’s 7NEWS bulletins.

In 2016, Sally joined the Weekend Sunrise family as their newsreader.

Away from work, Sally enjoys reading, skiing and travel. Sally is married to Richard and they have a son, Archie, and a daughter, Willow Rose.

About Sarah Di Lorenzo

Sarah is a qualified Clinical Nutritionist and multiple bestselling author who has dedicated her career to overhauling the health of Australians of all ages.

A trusted authority in the Australian health and wellness space, Sarah has sold over 150 thousand copies of her five book titles, a number that is growing every day.

Growing up with a father who is a psychiatrist and a mother who is a nurse, caring for the health of others was always in Sarah’s DNA.

Sarah’s Greek heritage meant family meals were based on the Mediterranean diet and it’s those principles of healthy eating and fresh produce that guide Sarah’s holistic approach to health and wellness.

For over five years Sarah has been a regular presenter on Weekend Sunrise and Sunrise as a health and diet expert sharing information with viewers on healthy meals and eating the right foods to help with sleep, stress, weight loss, immunity and slowing down the aging process.

Sarah’s approach is not about the latest diet fads or quick fixes nor is it denying ourselves of the foods we love. It is no secret that Sarah has been responsible for significant physical transformations
at the Seven Network including Weekend Sunrise hosts Matt Doran, Monique Wright and Sunrise co-host Natalie Barr.

High-profile clients have helped Sarah to raise awareness about healthy eating but just as important are the thousands of everyday followers on Sarah’s Facebook page where members follow her tips on weight loss, detox and recipes within a supportive community.

Sarah has spent the last ten years running her own private clinic in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs helping clients improve their diets, weight management and overall health.

Sarah’s enjoys designing original recipes often with healthy twists on family favourites and sweet treats without the guilt.

Prior to Weekend Sunrise Sarah was a regular guest on 2UE on Fridays discussing nutritional medicine and is frequently a guest on the Body and Soul Healthyish podcast, and Mornings with Sarah Macdonald on 702 ABC.

A regular columnist for New Idea and a fortnightly column in Seven West media’s
new digital publication The Nightly Sarah is often asked to contribute to health columns and news bulletins. Sarah an accomplished public speaker delivering keynotes on frequent book tours to packed out auditoriums. Sarah speaks on the importance of holistic health for employees in the workplace and as a strategy for increasing motivation and productivity.

A single Mum to three girls, one of the driving motivations for Sarah’s work is to teach young people and teenagers a positive relationship with food, the importance of a good diet and maintaining healthy body image for life.

Sarah’s first book The 10:10 Diet, The Healthy Way To Lose 10 Kilos In 10 Weeks was published by Simon & Schuster in January 2022, this has since been updated to The 10:10 Plan Your Ideal Weight the healthy way, together these flagship titles have sold over 60 thousand copies followed by The 10:10 Diet Recipe Book, The 10:10 Kickstart: Easy detox plans and healthy smoothies, 10:10 Simple Recipe book: Fast, healthy and budget-friendly recipes and most recently, The Gut Repair plan — quickly on its way to becoming another bestselling title.

To date Sarah has sold well over 150 thousands copies of her books in Australia has significant interest from international publishers.

This year Sarah entered the food production space with her very own range of locally manufactured protein bars.
